Upcoming Elections

The Denver Elections Division will administer the 2025 Coordinated Election on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Elections are held every year. The type and timing of elections changes based on the year.

  • A General Election is held on the first Tuesday in November every year.
  • A State Primary Election is held every other June.
  • A Presidential Primary Election is held every fourth March, in presidential election years. The next presidential primary will take place in 2028.
  • In Denver, a municipal Election is held every fourth April. The next Denver municipal election will take place in 2027.

Election Day is on Tuesday, June 30, but don't wait to turn your ballot in. The sooner you return it; the sooner we will be able to process and get results to our voters on Election Night. We encourage voters to review and return their completed ballots early!
